For far too long, I have had it in mind that I would love to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. It's one of those things that I've always thought would be really cool to do but only since becoming a 'Yes woman', have I realised that I should actually just go for it. That desire brings me to one of my bucket list destinations: Tanzania.I can't even imagine what it would feel like to witness sunrise/sunset on the Mountain as in the picture above. Now that I've actually written it down, there's no escaping. I have to climb this mountain. My dream is to combine a beach and safari holiday. Ideally, after the mountains, I would relax on a beach and do nothing whilst I recover for a few days and then dive into a Safari experience.I plan to really immerse myself in the culture and get to know the country for what it is, abandoning all stereotypes. I'd love to spend time with locals, living and breathing the culture.Another thing which really drew me to Tanzania is a Seafood restaurant in Zanzibar, The Rock. Unlike any other restaurant, it is surrounded by Ocean waters. It was after I saw this that I had no doubt in my mind about visiting Tanzania. Imagine the feeling of isolation and pure beauty whilst eating the freshest seafood in this restaurant? To be honest, I can't even imagine. One of the best things about having a blog is being able to document everything that inspires you. Everything you have, and also everything you want. For me, there is such a massive sense of accomplishment that comes from documenting a country I really want to visit and what I have heard about it to actually visiting and documenting my true experience. I can't wait for this dream to come true.
Speaking of holidays, I have just booked a three-day getaway with to Barcelona, thanks to this living social deal which I thought was completely irresistible. Thought I'd share incase you're up for a Spontaneous holiday with your partner or friend. However, the deal ends in a few days, so hurry!
