I’ve been to Marrakech once before, but this was a very different experience to that one. When I went in November 2015 for a friend’s birthday, we stayed in a luxury villa somewhere on the outskirts of town. This time, we stayed in Riad Dar Darma– a magnificent riad bang in the centre of the medina and all the hustle and bustle of the old town.
I have so much to report on these few days in Marrakech- a sensory overload in the best way possible. I was almost overwhelmed with how much there was to document and shoot because everything is just such a thing, if that even makes any sense. This was moments after we arrived at Dar Darma and were welcomed into the Red Room.
In the spirit of travel and all things wanderlust, I was featured on Farfetch speaking about my favourite city in the world, Cambodia, and what I like to pack when I travel there. If you’re an OG reader, you might remember my travels there during the first year of this blog’s existence.
