KNEE HIGH

Knee High
Zara Top, H&M Skirt (similar), Topshop Boots (similar), Marc by Marc Sunglasses, Chanel Boy

I am not a winter girl. No no no. But, I do like boots a lot. Especially boots of the knee high variety. In a perfect world, I would own this Celine and this Chanel pair. I'm also completely obsessed with the boots that Mira is wearing here.

Knee high boots can completely transform an outfit and take it to the next level and I believe it's a must-have for the winter. Wear with skirts- both mini and midi, over skinny jeans and with dresses.

I know Zara's knock-off culture is just getting crazier and crazier by day. With some items, I love it. I mean I can't afford Celine or Balenciaga clothing. This top is one of the items I really appreciate from Zara this season. Other items like this knock-off Celine coat however, are just weird.

Lovely. Can you put a link to the zara top? Also it would be lovely if you can create a graduation look book. Thanks.

Hey there longe. No doubt you have great taste for clothes & a fab wardrobe. But with most of your daily outfits could’ve been styled a lot better to put it nicely. A lot of them come off as “try too hard-ey” & not as effortless as a should be. That is your major problem. I recently followed you on ig & just checked out your blog. I love it & it has great potential for the nigerian market compared to most blogs like thirdworldprofashional. But this IS a fashion blog & your outfits aren’t really swoon worthy & dont really want to take a second look. I just go “nice sweatshirt” when I should be going “this girls style is amazeballs” . For example, its obvious you were trying too hard to sell the leather on leather look with this. I would love this outfit if it was either paired with a cream\nude midi pencil skirt & the boots or the leather skirt with suede pink pointed front pumps. You really should work more on your styling. I’m rooting for you & will guide you more with the next outfits you’ll be posting. I want you to be the lagos IT girl when you move back with the booming blog business.

      Hello,

Thank you for your comment. But, this is my style and I don’t want/need your guidance/advice. My styling evolves everyday and that’s what my blog is about. I don’t claim to have looked 100% in every outfit I’ve worn- it’s about continuous growth, discovery, inspiration, improvement and FUN. I’m not sure what you ‘love’ after stating that you don’t feel much other than ‘nice sweatshirt’ so I would suggest maybe this isn’t the blog for you. I love how you assume that I’m moving back to Lagos/have a desire to become an IT girl. Thanks for your efforts though, I see you put lots into that comment but I wouldn’t wear the outfit you suggested. Maybe you’d like to start a blog and that way, you get to show me how it’s done on a platform where your opinion is appreciated.

P.S My name is Fisayo to you, Longe is my surname.

Now, your turn!
