H&M Conscious Collection dress (loads on eBay), Giuseppe Heels, Pieces Clutch
A little memory from the night I wore this dress that will never make it to the blog or even instagram.
I was away for the weekend at a friend's 21st in Northampton and half way through the night, the music got so ridiculously good that I knew I had to do away with these uncomfortable shoes that I was actually just breaking in. I had two options: to kick off my shoes and dance with bare feet (I can never bring myself to do this) or to throw on the only pair of flats that I had packed with me for the weekend which was a pair of converses. Ouch! If there's one dress that looked terrible with trainers, it was probably this one. But the heels really had to go.
From that moment, I literally danced like my life depended on it and really had the most amazing time with some of my most fun friends. As much as I love shoes, I have to admit that sometimes they really can get in the way of a great night and I wasn't having that at all this time around. This is how I want to live for the rest of the year- I don't mean literally ruining a gorgeous dress by wearing it with trainers but occasionally not giving a crap, living by my own rules and putting fun first.
P.S I chucked on the belt because the dress was too big at the waist. I think it is prettier without.
