    Hi fisayo,
I hope you get this and find time to reply. I was wondering if you travel alone? Like a lot of the pictures you take in the beautiful countries are of you alone but then you say “we” when you write about your experience. I’m not trying to be nosy but I’ve decided to travel A LOT next year, instead of buying bags and shoes lol and I have no one to go with…so I was wondering if you go alone or if you happen to find like a random group of people to go with.. or do you get to the country, find fellow tourists and hang (sorry if this sounds ignorant).

I really want to travel to somewhere beautiful like Ibiza, and I’ve wanted to do so for about two years but my friends and family are unadventurous so i’m thinking of just going alone or possibly finding a group to go with. If you can help please do..I’ll really appreciate it.:-)

      Hey,
I’m actually going to do a post on this so you beat me to it. Yes, I travel alone but always to meet a tour group there.
I’ve never travelled completely alone save for spending a few last days after a tour in a 4 or 5* hotel in Thailand. Travelling alone scares me and I wouldn’t do it except it was for work or to a place like New York or Paris that’s pretty easy to navigate. Also, there are so many activities in places like Thailand that I don’t actually want to do completely alone. So, ‘we’ is a tour group. I would recommend G Adventures or Contiki.
That doesn’t sound ignorant at all btw! Perfectly reasonable and smart question. I always try to travel with a friend or family member and when that fails or even when I feel like really going off the beaten path, I opt for a tour group.
Ibiza is beautiful but definitely not a place to travel alone. To me, it’s a place to travel with friends and party. There’s some serene areas but yeah, it’s not one to do alone. So, I would definitely suggest a tour group. Also look at Greece if you’re thinking Europe. I think G Adventures have some tours that include a few different European islands.
      Hope this helps!

Hi! Thanks so much for your reply. I’ll definitely check those out. I want to do lots of travelling (by lots I mean 2 countries lol)next year so hopefully I’ll use a tour group. You should still do a blog post on this tbh, not everyone will get to see your reply.

Looking forward to more posts and Happy new year in advance.

Now, your turn!
