H&M Yellow Coat (super similar), Peter Pilotto trousers (love this pair), ASOS turtleneck crop.
2003 was the year I first went to boarding school. My school was no joke. I feel like there aren't too many situations that I wouldn't be able to survive after surviving LJC. An acronym for Loyola Jesuit College which we, the students, decided was better known as Local Jail for Children. Twice a term, we would have these events called 'socials' where we could wear our own clothes as opposed to the school uniform (something we never got to do) and party in a hall under strict supervision for a few hours. It was the highlight of the school term. On my very first social, I remember my school mother coming to check on me to make sure that I wasn't going to be wearing skinny jeans; which we used to call 'pencil' jeans back in the day. Wearing pencil jeans was the equivalent of social suicide. If I didn't have flared jeans, I would be better off sitting in my dorm and not actually attending the party.
Fast forward to now, can you imagine life without skinny jeans? They are the most flattering, most versatile, easiest pieces of clothing ever! Once in a while though, it's good to give the skinny jeans a rest and whip out the unsung heroes of bottom-half clothing: wide-leg trousers! I think that wide-leg trousers are some of the sexiest pieces of clothing ever. I'm not quite sure what it is about them but a high-waisted pair worn with a crop top that's showing off a bit of midriff gets me really really excited!
You’re reminding me of all the colorful coats I have hanging in my closet … That I need to pull out while the weather is cool here in Florida

Such a lovely coat! I don’t think I’ll ever buy such a color as I like coats I can wear with almost anything. All in all, love the outfit
