I’ve been going through runway archives doing design research for KAI and it really is true that there is nothing new under the sun. Checked jackets are one of those items that never really go out of style and are always relevant. However, they are back this season in a big way. What I love most about them is how versatile they are and how different they can be.
My favourite this season is this H&M one because the fabric feels like it is of such amazing quality. It is heavy and grandpa-ish, as it should be. Some of the other ones I’ve seen especially at Zara are a bit flimsy and double the price.
You’ll see me wearing mine everywhere and with everything this season including as a dress. I got mine super oversized as I knew that I wanted to wear it as a dress and also with hoodies underneath as an everyday autumn jacket.
These Casadei pumps and the Jacquemus bag that I got via Farfetch are some of my most recent favourite things. I own the Louboutin pigalles but at this point feel very uninspired by and bored of the red sole so I needed another pair of classic black pumps and I am blown away by just how sexy these Casadei’s are. The curve of the heel is insane.
