Sometimes, you have to look back to see how far you’ve come, and what the future holds. When I first started my blog, it was just meant to be a little avenue to keep my family and friends updated on my travels and share my cute outfits. I always say that if I had Instagram back then, I might never actually have started a blog.
Fast forward to now. My blog has built for me a career that I never even knew I dreamed of. Everyday, it’s taking shape and growing into something bigger than I ever expected. It is still really weird to imagine that this all started on January 1st 2012 in my mum’s living room in Lagos, Nigeria without much thought behind it.
Starting my blog for pleasure has given me the freedom to be able to take things on my own pace, make many mistakes and learn from them, and also learn and observe everything about the industry without much pressure.
The landscape has since changed and this has become a lot less playful and a lot more of a job for me. There are mistakes that I made that have probably stunted my growth along the way.
I set up the Full-Time Blogger to help you avoid these mistakes and to teach you everything you need to know to succeed in this industry. I will be hosting my first webinar, alongside my website designer, to teach you everything from how to set up your website to how to actually monetise your blog.
REGISTER NOW to join us, spaces are filling up fast! And I won’t be repeating this webinar again for a while.
Thank you for giving me this opportunity to create a career off of this blog. My mission is to give you the same opportunity you all have given me.
