This drawing is one of those little sentimental things that makes my house a home. It has always faithfully found it's way back to a wall through each of my four house moves within Lagos, Nigeria. I don't always miss Lagos as I don't find it to be the most exciting place in the world. I love it for it's sentimental value as it is where I spent my formative years and where a lot of my family lives. That being said, right now, home is where my heart is and I wouldn't rather be anywhere else in the world.
Over the next few days, I will try to show you guys as much as I can of Lagos. Lagos being a very urban city actually doesn't allow me to capture the sort of cool cultural pictures that I would like to and is not very aesthetically pleasing.
