Being a part-time student, part-time trainee accountant, it sometimes gets hard to juggle work with my blog but what is life without challenges? I am not a morning person but dressing up for work makes Monday mornings just that little bit more bearable. My company dress-code is 'business casual' which I am elated about because a lot of similar companies are 'business smart' and it means that I can push the boundaries with my work outfits just that little bit more. Here is the first of a new installment on the blog titled 9.30 to 5.30 giving you an insight into how I look at work which is actually where I spend most of my life at the moment so it would be wrong not to.
Why not just 9-5? Because indeed my contracted hours are 9.30 to 5.30. Those 30 extra minutes in bed mean the world to me. But working in the City, contracted hours are sometimes a bit of a myth. If the manager asks you to work 8-8 then that's what it's gonna be.
