My day began at the ungodly hour of 5am; rushing to catch a flight to Barcelona, plagued with excess luggage issues (hashtag standard). What does it mean to travel light? How does anyone do it? A few hours later, we were dining on Tapas in a local gem off the beaten path, recommended to me by a local (La Esquinica). Do you also try as hard as possible to avoid tourist rip-offs that don't even taste that great? That's that sh*t I can't stand.
I'm here for a few days with Maya (pictured above) and although we returned to the hotel for a 'quick nap' after taking these pictures, we never made it back out again because it's currently raining. I can't complain too much though, I'm not the biggest fan of dancing until 5am on only a few hours of sleep. Now, the plan is to catch up on sleep tonight and hit the ground running in the morning! I'm so excited to share my experience (the travel bits of the blog are my favourite, as you know).
