Houndstooth is one of those patterns that I’m always unsure about- it just gives me uncool old man vibes sometimes. But styled right, it gives an element of edgy classic sophistication that I really like.
I chose to wear mine with my current favourite streetwear t-shirt paired with flares for some grown woman vibes. But you know when you see an outfit and wish that you have thought of it first? My number one tip on how to style houndstooth, is to add very ‘of-the-moment’ ‘current culture’ elements that bring the outfit to a taste level that is on par with the current season. This way, it keeps the element of classic sophistication but then updates it to suit the current times.
